CanBoat Calgary is the former Calgary Squadron of the recently rebranded Canadian Power and Sail Squadrons (CPS-ECP).  We now operate under the name of CanBoat / Nauti Savoir which is a premier Canadian classroom, and on-line training provider, of recreational boating in Canada, carrying on the tradition of the CPS-ECP since 1938.

Please note we offer classroom and on-line training only.  We do not offer ‘on-water” training.

The mode of presentation of training has mostly shifted to an on-line web conference style.  However, our Calgary learning centre will still offer in-person classes if the demand exists.

Our courses are for boating in your local lakes and rivers, large inland water bodies, near-shore coastal voyaging, and offshore ocean transiting & passage-making.

We as much of a social centre  for recreational boaters as we are a training source.  We hold regular monthly socials from September through April.

You can register for the Pleasure Craft Operator Card, the Maritime Radio ROC(M), and the Seminars all year round and work on them 24/7.
