The Bluewater Cruising Association (BCA), Calgary Chapter, has invited CanBoat Calgary members to attend their monthly socials.

Time: Doors open at 1800 Mountain Time.
Cost: $5 'honour' door fee for non BCA members to cover hall rental
Theme for March: "Get to Know You" 'show and tell' with CanBoat Calgary members.
Description: BCA requests attendees to bring a few digital photos and introduce yourselves and perhaps speak about the photos you've brought. The format can be a who you are, what kind of boat, where do you enjoy boating, when do you typically boat, why you enjoy the boating lifestyle, why you boat where you boat, ... Topics you might like to share can be anything, such as a particularly good 'onboard' meal shared with new friends, a favorite anchorage, or even a harrowing (or embarrassing) 'learnings' story when things didn’t go quite as planned. In order to meet everyone, please keep your introduction to no more than 5-6 minutes. Bring 5-6 photos on a jump drive (USB 'A' memory stick). BCA will have a laptop and a projector.
